Name: Trejan Castevet [Tray-zhen]
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: Wind Elemental
Alliance: Order of Riders
Personality: Almost always happy and upbeat, Trejan is a people person. He’s willing to do things for even total strangers. He’s a sort of mellow happy, but that doesn’t stop him from always finding something to do if he’s not in the kitchen. He’s relatively naive and can be easily tricked, but never appears as stupid. Sometimes he’ll have little sparks of ingenuity that surprises himself and others.
Description: Trejan is slightly tall for his age, standing at 5’12”, but is scrawny and only weighs around 110 pounds. His hair is a dark brown and sticks out all over. It is slightly wavy and reaches just below his ears. There is a longer section in the back he has allowed to grow out though, but he always keeps it in a ponytail. His eyes are the color of amethyst.
Trejan is most comfortable in light clothes that mimic the chef’s clothes he almost always wears. However, as of more recently he’s been wearing the light brown leather garments of a traveler. There is a brown scarf he wears and his arms are covered by long gloves. On his right hand there is a tattoo of swirling patterns that resemble the air and what looks to be feathers. It starts mid-way up his arm and continues down the front of his hand to the tip of his index finger. The only real blemish on his skin is the scar on his left shoulder.

Brief History: Trejan was born of his Fire Elemental Father and his Wind Elemental mother. While his mother was a mysterious person, she met her lover while re-visiting her home in Tiaylia. The two were very happy together, both from middle-classed families and lived simple lives. Trejan’s father, Enos, was a very well-known cook and he claims it was his cooking that made Trejan’s mother, Isna, fall in love with him. Enos told him his mother indulged the story by stating the smell of the food had lured her in. Had she known better she would have never come close, she would joke.
But, as fate so had it, there came a day when Isna disappeared. Heart-broken, Enos returned to his work, feeling he could never love again. Months passed, but one rainy evening there came a knock on his door. Ever hopeful that it was his lover, he rushed to his door and froze in terror at what stood in his entry way.
At his door was a large cat. Bigger than any he had ever seen. But what really shocked him was the large basket hanging from the creatures mouth. Inside he could the cries of a newborn child. But what surprised him farther was when the creature introduced itself as Eumelia and waltzed into his home. An animal, speaking in the human tongue. He had thought for sure he was crazy.
When the child had been dried and taken care of, sleeping soundly on the couch, the creature told Enos that the child was his. Eumelia told him she was a Felid, reminding him of the ancient legends of the Riders. Telling him they were no legends, she told him that Isna had in fact been a rider herself. She had discovered she was pregnant when she returned to her life of protecting the people from the shadows. After the baby had been born, she was called out to battle and was killed. Remembering that Isna had never wanted the life of a rider for her child, Eumelia explained her reason for returning the child, named Trejan, to his father.
Enos soaked in the news silently, taking some time to mourn the loss of his lover. He knew however the sudden responsibility dropped on him and prepared himself for the life of a father. The next morning he saw Eumelia off, asking her where she was going and whether she would be back or not. She stated she was returning to the home of the riders, but would be back every now and then to check on Trejan.
So Trejan was raise in Tialyia by his father and Eumelia in his early years, who seemed to stalk around their home city more than the Order’s Keep. She slowly made herself less known over the years as Trejan’s skill in cooking flourished and soon became his father’s right-hand man in cooking. They ran a prestigious business in cooking for nobles and whatnot.
One day while they were traveling to a nobles home at the base of the Northern Mountain Range, a vicious blizzard separated father from son and left Trejan cold and on his own. He huddled under a blanket he had kept in his pack and slowly froze over. He remembered being on the edge of losing consciousness when he peeked out from the edge of his blanket and saw a moving white blur in the distant snow. The next thing he knew he was on a cot in the hands of a girl who introduced herself as Cadelen Trunin, with a boy no older than he by her side. She explained who she was and where he was. The legends of the riders his father had believed in turned out to be true.
Now Trejan works with the Order, fascinated at the existence of the riders and all that they stood for. From time to time he’ll see a white snow leopard felid roam about the riders and he gets the feeling he knows it from somewhere.
