In the Libary things were still like they were as usual, still dimmly lit by torches placed into the walls with large amounts of oil in them, still had the scent of mold and dust on old books that were a perminate feature of this room. The only thing that was different was a large pile of old tomes that were hapazardly placed in a sembaince of a small mountian about the size of a sitting human. Strangely enough there was a soft snoreing comeing from inside the pile. If there was someone in there it would make sence as it was night out side the doors of the Libary. Still, it was more than a little strange.

Selene walked through the library, hunting down a book she wanted. She was starting to get a bit frustrated; it wasn't in any of the places she normally found it. But still, she carried on, looking around at the tables that were placed here and there for people to sit and read or write at it. As she continued on her way through the rows of books, she saw a large pile of them, in a shape that reminded her of a person. Spotting the book she wanted, she went over to the pile, and picked it up gingerly, careful not to disturb the other tomes. As she did, she heard soft snores coming from beneath the books. She raised an eyebrow. "That's an odd place to sleep," She said, starting to removed more books from the pile, wondering who was beneath them.

When Selene talked the pile rummbled slightly and a long black haired boy popped out and streached his arms. Yawning he turned to Selene and nodded, partly in greeting and partly in drowsyness. "Hello Selene. How long was I out?" Griffin yawned again and his head hit the hard wood of the table before he was fully awake. By the looks of it he had been in the library all night, looking through the old books and tomes for something.

Silvie yawned sleepily as she moved into the library. It was still by far her favorite place in the Keep when Ai was sleeping, which was pretty much all the time. She wanted to find something to read, or just something to do in the library. Instead, she found Selene, one of the Pegasus riders, bending over a moving pile of books. Silvie stopped and stared for a moment before she saw Griffin's head appear in the books and hit his head on the underside of the table. She skipped over and knelt down, tilting her head slightly to see Griffin better. "Don't you know," She said in her soft voice. "That sleeping under a pile of books isn't good for you?" She smiled at him. "What are you doing under there, anyway?"

Selene jumped, startled but Girffin's sudden appearance from under the books. "I don't know, Griffin, I just found you there," She told him, with a sigh. She looked to Silvie as she walked over and mentioned that sleeping under books was not the best thing to do, and asked what he was doing under there. "Yes, I'd like to know that as well, Griffin," She said, setting the books she'd gather up on to the nearest table, keeping the one she'd looked for separate.

Griffin shook his head to get rid of the head pains that hitting the table brought. "Under a pile...Oh! The books must have fallen after I laid my head down to take a rest. Seems I slept through it. I was looking for any records of the plague in the old records of the Keep. So far Ive found plenty of knockout reads." He pulled himself up from the large pile of tomes and started to place them back onto the table. "So far Ive found nothing of the sort in here. Just hundreds of years of histirical debrie."

Silvie frowned as she helped Griffin pick the books back up and set them on the table. "You're looking in the wrong section," Silvie said quietly as she glanced at the titles of the books. "Here," She told him, and picked out two out of the large stack of tomes. "These two are the only ones in the stack you have that reference the Plague. I can find you more, if you wish. I know the library in and out, after all."

"I haven't a clue how you managed to sleep through having a pile of books fall on you," Selene said, as the three of them continued to clear the books away, setting them in piles on the table. "Maybe someone covered you up after you feel asleep," She mused for a moment, trying to figure out who would do something like that. "What do you want to know about the plague?" She asked, curiosity clear in her voice. She leaned against the table, crossing her arms and looking to Griffin for an answer.

"Well Kana could have done it, she knows that I could sleep through anything if Im tired enough. And Ive already read those two, they are too new for what I am looking for. As far as I can tell the plague only happened once, in the earliest years of the Riders. There were talks of ships with their crews dead when they floated aboard, the only thing alive were rats who quickly fled. All in all its everything that we know right now about it." Griffin yawned again, "I think Id better head off to bed. At the rate Im going I could be done with the books that are in Common by tomarrow night. Id burn out before then." He did look more than a little dead on his feet.

Adonia walked up behind Griffin, in time to catch what he last said and smirked. "dont burn out yet. Phoenix said he has some books that might interest you on the subject. Tomorrow, of coarse. I have them in my room" She said as she leaned over him, giving him a quick hug before standing up and yawning. She had come to find Griffin, knowing hed be in the library and that hed probably be working to death. She had come to drag him to his room so he could rest. But since he decided to take a break her mission was done! She glanced at the others around and gave them a friendly smile.
"Hey." She greated them cheerily before she turned back to look at Griffin, a worried expression when she saw how tired he was. "Onyx told me you were coming here a good long while ago. You havent been working this whole time have you?" She enquired as she bent down and picked up a book they'd missed, placing it in her folded arms. Her Gryffin Onyx, prancing into the room to bump his head against Griffins shoulder affectionately and stand next to his rider with a serene expression on his beaked snout as the airhead looked around at all the books.
